James 4: 17  KJV

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

1 John 5: 17  KJV

17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Romans 3: 23  KJV

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 5: 12  KJV

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 6: 23  KJV

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 7: 7-13  KJV

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

1 John 3: 4-10 KJV

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Personal Note- As you know sin all started when Eve from the tree of knowledge. It was all down hill from there. Then she convinced Adam to do the same. The Lord had nothing but the best intensions for them. Then Adams first born son Cain slew Abel the second major sin. In the Old Testament, sins were forgiven by animal sacrifice. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ himself became the sacrifice. Before Christ the Jews would bring a lamb to have sacrificed. Then Jesus himself died on the cross for our sins. That is why they called him the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. The Word of God says to Repent and be Baptized for the forgiveness of sins. Remember all have sinned and fallen short to the glory of God. Once you become a Christian it is important to ask for forgiveness every single day or several times in a day. Anytime the Holy Ghost tells you to ask for forgiveness you better do it at that moment. Another thing I want to mention is once you are forgiven for a sin, it is gone period. Do not keep thinking about it and worrying. The devil will try to convince you that you don't deserve to be forgiven. The Devil is the father of all lies and no truth can be found in him. I want you to remember the phrase "Don't Look Back" Stop looking back at a forgiven sin. Every time you do it pleases the Devil and upsets the Lord. You need to forgive yourself as well. When Jesus forgives you there's no reason to not forgive yourself. One of the things that holds a Christian back is when they refuse to forgive themselves of the sins that are already forgiven.

Dominion Over Sin: How To Live In Victory Over Sin

The greatest lie the devil can sell to our generation of Christians is that they will never be set free from SIN. That sin is inevitably here to stay and that even after we are born again we still carry a sin nature. All of these thoughts run contrary to the actual truth of the word of God. Romans 6 is the golden scripture of the Bible in reference to our relationship with sin now that we are born again. The Bible says we are DEAD to SIN and ALIVE to GOD. Paul says that we are no longer SLAVES to SIN anymore! Here is the truth I want you to receive during this video: YOU DON'T HAVE TO SIN. You can live a life well pleasing to God. You can be blameless and walk on the highway of holines & keep your garments WHITE in righteousness. Listen and be set free by the power of God's grace!
